Hmmm … that is an intriguing possibility … But I don’t see an “E” on the display or anything else that would look like preemphasis to me. Moderator, can you let us know please how is preemphasis indicated on DS Sr.? Thanks.

I would cut a thin strip of electrical tape and use an exacto knife to tuck it inside. If you check out the link and the post below in the link it gives a diagram of the pins.
