If you want to post a YouTube video

#1

If you want to post a YouTube video in the forums, we have a simple tool that makes them work and look correct. All you need to do is go to YouTube, open the video you want to share, copy the address of that video from the web browser’s address line (not YouTube’s share window) and then drop that into the post.

Like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= tGwon6FDBr4&list=UU74xmXx1NfeIIa44J1IU84w

I purposefully put a few spaces so the video doesn’t show up (don’t add spacesdull_gif). Now, there’s one more thing you need to do:

Change the httpS to a “v” so it looks like httpv:// (instead of https://) and you’re done.

When I do that, the video looks right as you can see below. Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks. Some good questions there too.

There was some passion at that table.

I do agree that with well engineered DSD and even hi-res PCM, it can be good for the hardware industry as it puts considerable pressure on our 20th century designed analog components. Price will be a hot issue though.

Not that your post is not useful, Gordon, but I find strange that the forum buttons (e.g. Thanks) are put at the top of the thread so I tend to thank the wrong guy cant-believe-my-eyes-smiley-emoticon_gif
