It may just be me (it often is) but I am getting the impression that many here are getting tired of having to stave off the “Cindy’s”. At first I thought it was a matter of waiting them out and they would move on. But that doesn’t seem to be happening. Or at least not in the time frame I was hoping.
I feel like my little hobby is under attack and every comment and decision comes under negative scrutiny.
Like a 2nd Lt just out of West Point and is strutting
his leadership ignorance to a more highly qualified
and experienced cadre…pretending something he
has yet to achieve.
A new SR Orange arrives today for my streamer. I’ve been using a Telos X2 which was a bit of revelation (my first fuse experience) so I’m looking forward to the comparison. Reading people’s thoughts here and on other forums, some seem to love the liquid midrange clarity, while plenty of others are reporting bass suckouts.
No problem with directionality because I have ears AND Innuos publish a picture on their website showing which way around to place a fuse for correct directionality.
So By the end of tomorrow I’ll have some idea of how the SR goes in my system. There’s a QSA Yellow arriving next week for a final comparison.
Way to go!!! Can’t wait to hear about your impressions.
In case you hadn’t read…the Orange takes a lot
of “sauteeing” cooooking time…it will have wow moments
and ugh why did i get this poj…and back and forth. Kind of
driving down a back country mountain road with plenty of
switchbacks until you arrive at that expected awesome viewing
point…usually about 300 hrs…having been there myself with the
Orange fuse.
