Just thinking

Recently I posted an ad here for a free Bridge II which got me to thinking . It had been sitting in a drawer since I purchased my MK DAC two years ago. I don’t know what these go for on the used market and I could care less. I am sure more than a few of you have gear gathering dust that someone else might put to good use.
Some of our hifi family are just starting out on their audiophile journey and your dust collecting gear might help them improve their system. You don’t have to necessarily give it away depending upon its value but you could offer a very steep discount.
Maybe this is a poor idea but I would like to hear what others have to say.

I fear I made a blunder because of my embarrassing English: I’ll try to rephrase it apologetically.

I think that what is in Al’s drawers is already a sort of audiophile paradise for me.

Interesting topic.

I’m sort of a minimalist in that I don’t like keeping gear around I’m not using. This has led to regret a few times but, for the most part, it’s always felt good.

You may want to reword this

Most of my stuff goes to @paul172 . I have given two turntables away recently. I still have a few pieces, a P20 LOL.

I can’t give Al enough praise his generosity is much appreciated. I like to think of it as active storage.

Luca don’t worry about it. I am sure after reading a lot of your posts that your English is way better than my Italian.

Yes, and at times his English is better than mine. My father was Italian born and though he did speak with a bit of an accent his English was always better grammatically than mine.

Al it sounds like most if not all of your gear is beyond the entry category but it is great that you are helping a friend out.
