Selling Low Dollar Gear

I’m not sure this is the right place to ask, but does anyone have any advice, ideas, or option for someone who has low dollar gear to sell ($150-$800) but despises selling stuff? I’ve gone the TMR route before and tried again, but I didn’t realize they had a min value ($1000) for consignments.

I have never had a bad experience selling things on our Marketplace.

I have always been hesitant to sell; yet have no bad experiences on Marketplace. I feel safe selling to the PS Audio people.

I have sold a ton of tweaks such as fuses, tubes, isolators, footers, etc without issues. I have also sold expensive gears (P15 was the latest) without any issue too. All mine were sold through here and Audiomart US and they were all gone!🏌🏽‍♂️

I have also sold many items on US Audio Mart. Often it takes a while to sell and you can get lots of low bid offers that I usually just ignore. The cost is free and I have not had any problems with any of the Buyers. I have also purchased equipment on there and have had no issues to date.

What is your alternative to selling? Possibly donating to a friend or budding audiophile. The MarketPlace here has been fine. US AudioMart (USAM) has its ups and downs, people being people.

Thanks much all. I appreciate it. I figured this place would be the least stressful but I’m not sure how much interest there might be in my cast offs. Never know till you give it a go.

The Schiit stack part I’d hold onto in case one of the kids develops an interest. Or I’d buy your BSN and set up a second system somewhere.
That’s it. I need to buy a vacation house so I’d have a place for another system.

That’s the ticket!

Schiit is very popular on ebay, often selling for crazy high prices…and it’s usually small and easy to ship…

Thank you. I hadn’t considered it.

Don’t forget about using your old gear to get trade-in discounts from PS Audio. You get credit for the original list price of your old gear, which is typically much higher than the current value of that equipment. It’s a lot easier than selling used equipment to private buyers, although it doesn’t help you if you’re not interested in buying any new PSA products. In my case, I was able to trade in enough gear to get a 40% discount on a pair of new FR10 speakers.

I have done this a few times over the years old gear and just recently for speakers (FR5) too.

The thought of trading for PSA gear has crossed my mind more than once. I’d love a pair of FR5/10 but they’re not in the cards right now.

In my case, most of my spare stuff is so old PSA isn’t interested in it. Though I admit I’ve been toying with the idea of trading a pair of Focal Elears that I used only once toward an Airlens. A reasonable person might suggest my headphone needs are fully met by the Clear and Bathys that are sitting around here.
