I realized that I do not have a serious collection of live recordings, which is a shame, so please list your favourites. So I can do some shopping…
My favourite for now:
Michael Landau live 2006.

Puh - with that question I just realized that most all of my favorite albums are not live recordings… Anyhow, here a list of some of my long-time favs:
Peter Gabriel “Plays Live” has been been a favorite ever since I bought it over 30 years ago (!).
A couple that come to mind, mainly because I’ve recently spun them:
Miles Davis - The Complete Live at the Plugged Nickel
Jill Scott - Experience Jill Scott
Here are my some of faves, in no particular order
That’s a start. I know there are many more.
Drum Duet by Genesis on The Way We Walk Vol 2
Cowboy Junkies The Trinity Session.
He’s so great live. Saw him on the So tour. One concert I’ll never forget.
Alison Krauss + Union Station - Live
Jimmy Smith Live! Root Down
+1 on Alison Krauss. Great performance. Great recording.
