Even if the manufacturer recommends 24 hours, in my opinion the results are immediately audible once you place them, especially the 2 pieces in front of the speakers. Many other owners have noticed the biggest impact on top of the speaker, not an option for me unfortunately.
Just like the Black Box you need to try different placements, some do nothing, some are very subtle, some others clearly provide ch ch changes.
If you find the right place, you immediately hear the difference. If you remove them from that right place, the difference is even easier to be noticed at a glance (by ears, I mean).
Being obsessed by symmetry it seems that I can perceive a beneficial effect when they are placed in that way. And I prefer the result of placing them in contact with wood (floor, shelves of the rack or furniture) even though you may hear improvement on top of components too (in my case the Puritan for instance).

And here I thought buying an adjustable portafilter was crazy. Once again I am humbled on what we will buy. I do wish this would hold some Beaujolais, sadly the hole in the middle precludes that.

Almost pulled the trigger on B2, but after consulting with the boss the idea quickly died. I can only put them behind the speakers, not on top or in front😕

Another bad news is the PC in front of FB seems to matter. I am thinking to get a set of Furutech IF50 plugs to improve the old PSA cord, it sounds more dynamic and fuller than pigtail, but has the cheapest plugs on it. Furutech will make it a world class PC🕺🏻

As for B2s… be patient, time will tell. As soon as I can place my other set of 4 I’ll give you more food for thoughts (and a few trips coming soon can help convincing your “boss”).

I’ve spent the last 2 days positioning the second set of 4 B2s and I’m really surprised. Never heard a similar feeling of organic, realistic and engaging sound.
Placed on the front wall and the floor floor, they are creating a beautiful environment, relaxed, haze free, vibrant where the music can touch easily your soul like if it was more vivid and intelligible.
An overall sense of refinement, finesse and elegance. Most of all the presence, adding more pieces clearly enhances the effect, so it seems to be cumulative. I need to repeat myself: you don’t simply hear the sound, you can wonderfully FEEL the music, viscerally.
There is a tension in the music that keeps the attention alive, leaves the emotions suspended and floating gently in the air, clear and sweet, attractive and dreamy, delicate and fascinating. What a great feeling!
I need 4 more of these things!

One thing that is preventing me is that earlier this year I purchased a pair of Omicron Power Boost devices, which I believe originate from Italy, your homeland if I’m right?
These are pure audio jewelry and currently sit on top of my speakers.
They are ‘tuned’ by rotating levers and adjusted by trial and error to get the best sound.
I’ve recently made a few changes to my system and may need to ‘re-tune’ them again?

It seems to do a different job, working on magnetic fields while the B2s camp is related to water molecules (I know I know… it sounds like typical voodoo marketing!).
The B2s can be placed effectively also on the floor in front of the speakers, in my case I have to do so because my speakers are not flat on the top surface.
It means that both could live in the same environment.
I read on WTB forum that many B2s owners use on the top of their components the B2s and the HRS Damping Plates together, And they like them.
Having said that, Stephane from Neodio suggested to me not tu use the Origine B2 together with other comparable “tweaks”, because the results of their interaction cannot be predictable (a bad review on 6 moons comes from the room of the reviewer that was full of tweaks from various brands, as per Stephane).
I agree with you, it could be not a good idea adding the B2s together with the Powerboost in the same room. The only way to know if it works or not is trying them, so be sure to borrow or purchase them with a safe return policy from a trusted dealer.
What I can say is that I’m liking them so much, I think they bring audible and immediate improvements to music more than fuses, footers or other tweaks I tried before. I consider them like an acoustic treatment tool, similarly to diffusers or the black box.
But Im not used to recommend anything in this hobby, I only share my experiences based on my own choices, money and risks.
