Network Acoustics Tempus switch

I’m pretty sure he is using Stealth Dream Petite cables, not V16. Both are white with similar markings and tuning rings. It’s just the V16’s are thicker and these do not seem to have that heft.
Besides that, the point is there is a lot of things to get right before the signal even hits the streamer.
No switch ( just the Muon Pro), or add a respectable entry-level one ( the LHY) or, put all your chips in on the Tempus.
What to do. A digital dilemma.

I’m sure Luca will report on the MK2 power supply upgrade. What’s cool is they provide a respectably priced upgrade for current users.

Sounds like you are ready for a Tempus. Then maybe you can say goodbye to CD’s lol

V16, V16 petite. Tuning rings no tuning rings! This Stealth stuff is very confusing!

I sent in my 2 Tempus power supplies for the upgrade last Tuesday and received them back yesterday. From the Toronto area to England and back in 6 days. No complaints on the turn around time.

Put them back into the systems yesterday evening and can’t say that I noticed much of a difference (although I was feeling under the weather with a cold). Let the one in the 2 channel setup run for 24 hours and now there appears to be an improvement over the unmodified version. More depth and detail and, well, it just sounds better. Well worth the cost of the upgrade.

Amazing to hear! Keep us posted if they improve even further over the next days.

Does anyone have any experience in comparing NA tempus switch to LHY SW-10?
Thanks…

Send me a SW-10 and I’ll compare them.
The SW-10 is very new and don’t know if anyone has taken delivery.

I have a LHY SW-10, but I need to add a SW-6 so I can use the fiber optic link (along with a clock link). This combination sounds better than with SW-10 by itself. However, this does not answer the question. But I do not see any user will have my combo and a NA Tempus too, unless one has two systems.

But the new LHY SW-10 Pro could be an even better switch, and I am still waiting for mine. I am also still waiting for my new amp. It seems with the tariffs all imports take much longer to get here.

Hi Donald, nice to hear from you. Yeah I have the SW6 fiber out to SW 10 have them linked with BNC and it’s good.
I also have the Mulan Pro, and some other network streaming cables from NA. I really like them and their products. I was just really curious if they’re was much better than what I have. Be well, my friend to keep your head down and follow it through lol.

Re SW-10 Pro

this has fiberoptic connecting the Red Zone and the Green Zone, thus an internal FMC; confirming this, Alvin calls the box a swiss army knife

It will be great if it can replace both the SW-10 and SW-6 and can improve my system more.

A couple members want my SW-10 and SW-6 already, and my SW-10 Pro is nowhere to be seen. It has not landed in the US yet.

Since this is a Tempus thread, I just want to say that it also likes a CAD GC1.1 hooked up to it.
Not revolutionary, but it does what it did on my streamer and cd player…quieter, more 3-D, more palpable.
I think my go-to criteria for a significant improvement is with female vocals. Do I want to continue dating or kiss her right in the moment.

Hi Donald - I am curious if you got your SW-10 Pro and if you have any assessment yet?
Like you I have an SW-6 fiber to SW-10. Curious of your findings…Thanks!

LHY SW-10 Pro is the easiest recommendation I can make for switches, it is quite a bit step up from SW10/SW6 combo.

Some may jump up and down on my following statement, but one needs to hear it. The improvement was so obvious that it ranks just lower than MU2 itself in my streaming chain.

Wow - that is an impressive endorsement. I am thinking of a way I could make it work…Thank you.

To you.
