New PMG Pre Amp and SACD Player

I can shed light on this…
We had a limited number of the first production run. We’re out as of now. I’m having the team reach out in order of when preorders were placed! We may be reaching out to more folks soon…

Interesting that you placed the REL 6 pack inside the mains rather than the usual placement outside. I am assuming that you tried both ways?

The correct position for a 6 pack stack is on each side of the listening chair, pointed towards it. I thought everybody knew this.

would adding a 2nd Rel S/510 be worth the $$? or buying a better single Rel instead and selling my 510?

wrong thread… sorry just curious and awaiting my PMG DAC… i want my PMG

I was told by others that the S/812 is a better sub, but also know that 2 subs are generally better than one because of better integration for a smoother response.
But even though I say this, I am keeping my one subwoofer, partly because another sub cannot be added to the old Infinity system, and partly cause I have made too many upgrades and need to stop for a while.

One sub is fine for home theater. Make booms and rumbles. But for correct audio pleasure, two to six subs are required.

This is on page 37 of my about to be released new book “I Have A Dream”. Actually, page 36.

The cables I use for just two REL subs list for $2999 each. I schitt you not.
And Connie the Bunny ate one and I had to replace it.
Similar to Ethernet Switch technology, I can’t say I hear a difference over the stock cables. But they seem to pass signal.

And, hopefully, Connie passed cable.

Very good cables can be had for under $500. I have a pair of Morrow Audio cables on my pair of No. 25’s. They are better than REL’s Bassline blue cables that I was using.

You brought a tear to my eyes.

They keep disappearing quickly from TMR. They show up, last for 3 to 5 days, then disappear.

I do hope you are using a speakon connection to your sub and not an rca or xlr

And, hopefully, Connie passed cable.

Barfed it right out.

The replacement cable is protected by 2.5 inch PVC Pipe with proper connecters for the required bends. I did not use PVC glue. I hope to not regret this.

I don’t understand why cable manufacturers don’t make their cables bunny proof. Seems like that would be a minimum requirement. Although I seem to remember reading that Pangea makes their cables bunny proof. Maybe you should give them a try.
