Just got the new pre amp and SACD player today. Waiting on the DAC. Will listen over week when I’m able to see what I think.
Only issue so far is the remote does not work for the transport.

What do you use before PGM transport?
PS Audio’s PerfectWave SACD player.
This is the only new PMG product that Paul said was “slightly better” than PST. It will be interesting to hear your evaluation between the two, after at least a week of course.

Hmmmm. Ok, if your new remote isn’t connecting with the PMG Signature transport it’s likely it’s on the wrong transmitter. The remotes can transmit on A, B, or C (we do this in case the remote is interfering with your TV). The remote should ship with A on, so, let’s assume that is what it is.
Now, you need to find out what the SACD transport is set to so it matches. Go to the round screen, touch the home button, then at the bottom of the screen, touch the settings (a gear icon). You’ll see the middle choice is the remote code. Touch the three dots across from the midle remote code and it should say A, B, or C. If it’s on B, for example, just touch it through to A and you should be good.
If not, you have two options: read the manual

Thanks. I did not get the chance to work on connecting the remote to the SACD player last evening. It works fine with the Pre-amp. Depending on how late I’m working this evening, I’ll give it a try tonight.
I have said though many times over the years “when all else fails-read the directions.”
First impression of the Pre-amp is one of increased sound stage, both depth and width. Although it is subtle, it is noticeable. For me, adding the third set of REL carbon special subwoofers to complete the six-pack last winter really improved imaging immensely.

Interesting that you received your PMG SACD Transport already, as it was not due to ship until August. I reserved mine on April 17 in Black. I wonder if I will get early delivery as well.
Looks like a lot of vinyl! Can you share some info on your analog rig? Curious minds and all that…

Call PSA and ask them if one is available. When they called me to complete payment on the pre the rep said by the way we have a transport available in black, so I got that as well. Both are arriving today.

That was my experience as well. Not expecting the SACD player this early, but happy to get it now.

Have a meticulously setup/maintained SME arm, but the anti-skate mechanism apparently broken
SME informed me of about a $1,000 charge plus shipping to/from UK plus tariff
Just a spring in there correct? Never owned an SME arm
Assume so, but don’t see way to get at it nondestructively
