I know I’m in the minority, but anyone have any thoughts on the new Sonos app? It seems…fine. Just really unfinished.
It looks like they were aiming for an arbitrary ship date vs providing minimum viable product. I only updated one controller (unfortunately my phone) and there’s no going back.
The developers did an AMA Monday and it was a bloodbath. Shipping minus alarms and a sleep timer as well as lacking the ability to add a local library without a PC was a mistake. And apparently the accessibility for blind users is almost completely gone. A shame
I have finally gotten it mostly working as long as I remove the Boost from my system which appears at long last to be deprecated. RIP SonosNet, Long live WiFi 6!
