DS DAC firmware is independent from Bridge II. Roon intermittent connection to Bridge II needs to be resolved separately.

Take your time PSA FW team as my DSD will be on ice until October. Imagine the number of “comments” PSA will get should there be a minor glitch in the firmware or one’s ability to load it. This is especially in light of all the anticipation and disappointment comments. Me, I’m going on a hike. Yesterday, it was hike, audition a new stereo system, followed by a fine dinner. Here in the midwest there are better options to fretting a FW release, or product release for that matter.

I don’t think anyone is pressuring PSA, at least not intentionally, we’re just a bunch of giddy audiophiles anxiously awaiting the unveiling of the next mountain top.

Especially with so many new products on the horizon. If I was Paul I’d want everything that PSA was doing now to be as bright and shiny as possible. Getting great press on Sunlight has to be paramount. Any new prospective customers for DS MKII could be turned off if Sunlight was perceived to be a failure.

Man, you drive a hard bargain.
I actually bothered to pull my old laptop out of mothballs do the the windows and browser updates and dust of the SD card burner. I guess I am a glutton for optimism that something new might show up in firmware downloads. 
turning blue from holding breath and being chill waiting for Hell freezes over. Which could be a good first album with this acoustic cut to enjoy some first rays of Sunlight. The imaging and sound stage depth is better than the studio album.
So what will be your all’s first cut?
