Well I hope your right. However I’m not sure how anyone competes in the market with the likes of Eversolo, Denefrips, Holo etc. Until at least you hit a certain price point. Heck, I’m not even sure where I got to go to beat my little DSJ. Gotta be 5k+ I’m sure.
Yeah I had a JR it is very good, the big feature I wanted was the two I2S inputs one for my PST and one for my Airlens, have not seen any that have two of them
I have a digital preamp that also has two HDMI inputs, the NAD M51 that I use in my audio-visual system since my Oppo UDP-205 up and quit on me. It surprised me as being a FANTASTIC sounding unit, which coupled with a 200 dollar SONY blu-ray player bested the sound of the Oppo and serves as the control source for my cd and blu-ray and DVD discs, the DVR output and the Apple TV output for my audio visual system. 500 dollars, used, well spent–hassle free operation, excellent sound.
