Interesting you mention birds ability to metabolize alcohol faster than humans. I remember having a berry bush where we used to live that had fermenting berries birds loved to eat. They would gorge themselves to the point they started behaving slightly drunk, it was quite an amusing sight to watch!

Unlike Man, I find it fascinating how wildlife is intuitively in tune with nature, which provides solutions for their continued survival. We, on the other hand, think we can improve on the perfection that has been provided for us, with the use of synthetic concoctions, which cause more harm than good.

Not the most remarkable image, but spent the afternoon at Boyd Lake State Park watching the air show across the lake. The Blue Angels were the highlight.
