as Colonel Klink would say, very interesting
The $64k question is: What does integrated mean? Amp, preamp, DAC, phono pre, streamer…ultra high-end PC?
I was thinking same thing. how far is he taking it. sounded like at least DAC. maybe stop at phono pre. Modular? probably not.
In the old days it would just mean phono and/or line preamp, and amplifier in one chassis. But now. . . who knows, until told.
My guess: line level preamp and amp in one chassis, so that a buyer of the PMG transport, DAC and phono preamp would have an integrated method to connect to speakers.
suspect its means amp and preamp, for the PMG level, would think that DAC, phono would be separates
I never thought I would see a PS Audio integrated. That’s really taking things in a different direction.
Are you forgetting about the Sprout and Stellar Strata?
back to the future
I cringe every time I utter the word integrated and picture the PMG version of it, but yes, an integrated will eventually appear in the PMG line but not for some time. Receivers and integrateds are traditionally compromised collections of internals summed together with a single power supply to make an entire unit. That’s hardly what we’ll be doing, but then I don’t know another way to express what this would wind up being.
Imagine instead the same internals of separates just repositioned inside of one chassis maintaining g their separate power supplies. Picture a PMG power amplifier with a PMG DAC inside the large chassis and you start to get the idea.
Applicable most places
There is a strong market for well done high end integrated amplifiers, Sim Audio, Boulder, Accuphase, Luxman, D’Agostino, Gryphon, and naturally Vitus all come to mind. The convenience alone and a smaller footprint can be an advantage as we older folks downsize and simplify. With an integrated the trick is to know where to draw the line, for example including internal digital and phono sections. From my auditions internal digital was too much of a compromise, and it is evolving rapidly and in more significant ways than phono stages.
Bought this beauty a few months ago. Replaced four Pass Labs boxes. I don’t miss anything and I adored my Pass gear!
edit to show the titanium color I bought. I love this color!
Gorgeous stuff! And who wouldn’t want some T&A in their life?!?
Oooh, that’s nice looking!
T&A is making some very nice looking gear these days. Their HV and Series 200 stuff has great aesthetics. Love the titanium color. Not black, not silver! A win-win. Enjoy them for me!
If or should you choose to put class D 1500w a channel with pmg dac as integrated id buy it hehe
What about a tri power integrated. 3 power cord inputs, each amp n dac… make gryphon second guess there setup. Come on.. one box with 3 audioquest dragon power cords ![]()

That’s going to be a really cool project Paul. Can’t wait to hear more about it!
@roninaudio I bet that integrated really makes the DeVore’s sing.
