Extremely telling.

what tracks are you listening to for this?
The new remote is universal across all PMG products.
My OST CDs with more than 70 tracks are in absolute shambles right now. I might have to see if I can get a couple of older remotes for safekeeping.
Thanks for the correction. Passing on info from the PS Audio factory but they hadn’t got the system ready for sale yet.

The beat I’m refering to as very low frequency like 1 per second…not a flutter.
After a couple of nights staying up to 230a in the morning listening to the new PMG Pre because I just can’t pull myself away from the music, here are my impressions on the sound quality so far…
The notes just continue to linger in the air like I’ve never heard before. They seem to just float. The decay is amazing. The transients are mouth watering good. The bass is tight, full bodied without any puddling or bloat. Very appealing. There is no sibilance in female vocals I’ve heard in prior listening sessions of familiar songs that I can detect.
The soundstage on the song “If you knew me know” by Christel Alsos sounds cavernously deep, especially towards the end of the song.
The ring of fingers sliding up guitar strings is spooky real.
At about 75 hours so far. Definitely moving in the right direction as the Pre continues to find its place.
Spot on about the sparkle comment. I’m in full agreement with that as well.
Hey, what are your loudspeakers? I don’t think you mentioned them yet.
Glad you are really enjoying the new preamplifier…
Curiously yours.

On the BHK600s, I’ve installed 4 NOS Telefunken 6922 tubes with Herbies tube dampers. The amps set on HRS S3 isolation stands.
Very nice, thank you.
Enjoy.
Please allow me to be one of the first to pick a nit. I wish the new PSA “Logo-Buttons” colors (LEDs?) matched the old colors. If I add one of the PMG pieces to my system, the difference will stand out and exercise the little bit (or more) of OCD I suffer from.
Respectfully yours.

Replace, repeat as required for complete conformity. It is The Way, for those who suffer.
That’s a downright evil suggestion. I think it would be more cost-effective to up the dose on my medication.
More importantly, the size difference is eyepopping obvious. This was intentional of course and future upgrades are ensured.
If I did not have MU2, I would be selling all my DS line (I have trade-in credit for four PMG with their little offering).
Sharp!
That last image does not appear to be quite the same color (around the edges of the logo/button) as the color in the picture I lifted from the @aweiss1114 post.
The color temperature from phone cameras taking pictures of colored led lighting constantly changes. Which photo is more accurate of the logo color would have to be commented on by someone that has one or someone from PSA.
Folks:
I just got my new PMG PreAmp and I am burning it in. My equipment includes all PSA, MK2 DAC,SACD,BHK preAmp, BHK600’s and FR30’s. So far I notice more focus and better highs and soundstage, but it’s too early as it needs more burn in time.
My only negative is with the new remote. It does not change volume in the listening position, which is about 9 feet away. You have get within 3 feet for it to work. I changed the batteries and it’s set for “A”. It’s very annoying because the old remote does not work with the PMG preAmp. Other than that it looks promising. I’ll keep you posted as to SQ as it burns in.
Congratulations.
I wonder if you are the only “all-in” forum member.
