Now that PMG is here, is the PerfectWave components like my dac and preamp face discontinuation?
I wonder what the PMG speakers subs going to look like?
PMG mono blocks?
A pair of each PMG.for me.

The PerfectWave Preamplifier and SACD Transport (PST) are already showing “sold out.”

The PerfectWave DAC MK2 is still available for purchase new at $7999. PS Audio has announced that the MK2 will not be receiving any future updates. I think its reasonable to assume that, once the PMG DAC is released, it will be retired.

There never was a PerfectWave-series Phono Pre but the PMG line will be offering one. A Stellar Series Phono Pre is still available for purchase new.

I suspect at some point PMG-series amplifiers will be introduced but nothing has been announced to-date.

Not really … I was a fan years ago but gave up on pro sports as I got older.

I was told PMG amps not until end of year, possible next year so im thinking 2026 Axpona time.

I have seen PMG preamp amp and wonder how music more superior it is than the flagship BHK Signature.

Regarding the title o this thread, I think PMG taking over seems a good thing.
The stuff at Axponaroonie looked way good.
I might buy the DAC. Proly will.

I’m thinking about it as well. What streaming provider do you use? I’ve been using Spotify exclusively, but will probably need to upgrade?

I have Qobuz and Tidal. For songs common to both, I have Roon configured to pick the Qobuz version.
