The Analysis Plus Solo Crystal Oval 8’s, how did they sound ? ( I pick up a burned-in set of Bi-Solo’s + interconnects for trial on Monday, so this is particularly interesting to me).
In particular, enough bass ? I’ve tried lower down the AP+ line and found immense detail in the high’s but lacked weight down low. I guess with a sub-woofer, it would be possible to compensate ? What chance could the Crystal be partly responsible for lack of bass mentioned in newsletter today (about the difficulties setting up in Munich) ?
@adminpaul are the AP+ Crystal the usual or recommended cables being used with the BHK250 / 300’s ? Is there a set / type / flavour of cables favoured by BHK listeners ?

Picked up AP+ Crystals. Fast, very detailed. Voice is very clear, and I’m noticing more blackness in the gaps between segments within a song.
Still believe there is a trade-off regarding Bass, but need to work out whether it is Bass that’s reduced or High that are emphasised.
