When I put my face in front of my C14’s I get the feedback. I have learned not to do that.
Happy STEALTH cake day, Paul!
@luca.pelliccioli you see something we can’t see in the states.

Happy cake day, Paul!
Do you have graphs on what it tamed? I have a few big dips in my new room. At work but if I recall around 200Hz and 55Hz
The C214 works up to 160hz.
I started digging through the manual and such. how are people liking them in their systems?
I like mine. Your new room design may negate much need for them.
even with all the treatment, when I tune I see big nodes up and down. Tune can fix the + Humps, but cannot do much with the - hump
I need to fix a dip NOT a hump
I have not measured room response in a while.
My comments are general in that with five base traps, two C214’s, and a BlackBox, most of the perceived bass bloat is gone. The C214 is the single best contributor.
A near flat response is unachievable in even the best of rooms. My goal is to eliminate any nodes that linger at the listening position that cause smear and fatigue. Almost there.
I still have access, at reduced pricing, to the C214.
PM me if interested. PSI will be at Axpona and will be shoring up their local representation. I hope to be part of that and purchases make the best argument.
I have a not so cheap solution. Powerzone and Stealth 2020 will tighten up your bass bloat.
The good thing about nulls is you don’t hear them, and in my case if it weren’t for REW I wouldn’t have known I have a -15db null between 57-62Hz. A single C214 (I just ordered a 2nd) did nothing for the null so I added dual subs and placement of the subs and seating position helped raise the null some but not a lot. The C214 removed enough of the LF mud such that the rhythm and timing became more enjoyable but did little, or nothing, for the null by itself.
By adding subs the C214 behavior changed, for the better in my room. The sound stage filled in some and believe it or not the mids were raised a little.
The ability to change the absorption rate of the C214 is a really neat feature to easily tune for your room and liking. In my room the decay times around the 30Hz range was nearly a second, which destroyed my listening pleasure - a single C214 lowered that to about 400ms.
An active bass trap can help remove the bad stuff and still allow you to feel the punch intended by the artists.
You are correct. I will find a more elegant absorber if needed. Long term the rack is moving to the side of the room and I will have al um and cd storage at the racks current location. I am constantly in prototype stage
