The sound is getting better. Scary better. Just when I thought I was done upgrading I do something else. It took me until my 65th year to have the audio I have.
The Dragon is a different flavor compared to the RAL. Sort of like, some like Pepsi, and some like tequila. Personal preference rules.
I believe that there’s a special synergy between all the RAL cables that I am enjoying. I put the Dragon HDMI back in my system for fun a while ago and I ended up selling the Dragon HDMI. I truly am impressed with the sound quality I am getting with the RAL cables.
Full looms from one brand has obvious strengths.
My system is now the best it has ever been. I am definitely a fan of RAL cables from their digital HDMI to their Precept power cable. I’ve never experienced music as I have been lately in my own home. I remember when I was younger I used to go Audio shop hopping to listen to the big systems. After 50 years or so I have a pretty decent setup of my own. Of course there is always “ bigger faster better “ but I am doing well. Getting involved with RAL cables has been a major factor in my system being at the level it is at.
Ral is definitely a very fine HDMI cable, better than WireWorld, PS AC-12, and other cables in my experience. The AQ Dragon gives you more detail and clarity, but can be a little on the bright side depending on your system and taste. I choose AQ because my system can handle the brightness and I just hear more detail and space with the AQ. You really have to hear both cables in your system to know what’s right for you. Both are excellent cables.
