No, and my understanding is that if/when Roon begins decoding MQA it will be limited to the so-called “first unfold” to 96 kHz.
As for Roon simply passing MQA so that it can be decoded and unfolded at the audio output endpoint, my understanding is that Roon has that capability now, but that endpoint manufacturers need to update their firmware for it to work. PS Audio is reportedly planning a Bridge II update that will allow decoding in the Bridge II of MQA streams sent via Roon.
Any time frame for Roon/MQA support for Bridge II?
PS Audio will update Bridge II to incorporate the newly released RAAT (Roon Advanced Audio Transport) from Roon. No specific release date has been announced, but their engineering staff is working on it.
