I remember you going to Mike’s to listen to the Fyne’s and then afterwards your long Covid journey. The Formula I bet is a fabulous DAC and one day I hope to find a good used one after I clear some of the current inventory. I had thought that by now Christian would have ventured back into the “introductory model” territory but it appears that in the current environment that may not happen any time soon. We’ll see what this years High End Munich show has to offer from them. To my ears and side by side the La Voce S3 did everything the Mk I did but just more off it. A lot could be said for it containing a nine year newer FPGA module and two better transformers. No remotes, screens or bells or whistles just great sound. It’s still the mainstay DAC in the upstairs Bonus Room system.
