That could happen. We will have to get a party room for all the PS A forum folks. We could enjoy live discussions like do cables matter and what about feet?
@weedeewop Thanks! I will certainly take you up on your offer. Iāve been to Madison a dozen or so times. Each time I find something new. My favorite so far are Strictly Discs and Paragon Stereo. Both found on my second trip. I havenāt missed either in all the trips since.
What about combining cables and feet and have a rousing conversion about cable lifters? Lifters have feetā¦ or so Iām told.
MadCity Records in the Schenk Atwood neighborhood is a worthy visit, especially for alternative and indie music. University Audio is Madisonās premier stop for equipment.
If Covid settles down, and you are a fan of Belgian beers Brasserie V is a must, and it is down the block from Strictly Discs.
Iāve eaten at Brasserie and the Pizza place right near there. Both are on my rotation. Is MadCity the record store on the northside near a pizzeria? I killed some time at a shop a few years back while waiting for one of my workmates delayed arrival.
Axpona is still presenting webinars that can be interesting depending on the subject and the assembled panel, in this case:
Andrew Gillis of SGC is hosting a webinar on digital sources and set-up. Presented by Axpona, SGC and Sonore

It is central and east of the Isthmus a few doors down from Texas Tubbs Taqueria on Atwood Street. No Pizza nearby, but they did relocate to this location. Alchemy is about a block away and good for a brew and sandwich.
It was Tacos! The Texas Tubbs is what I was trying to remember. They did have a nice collection of used vinyl. My only complaint about MadCity is there wasnāt a table or anything flat to review my finds. I normally surf a store, get a stack of LPās, and then find a spot to start looking at the vinyl. I finally ended up standing off to the side of the counter where I was in the staffās way a few times. The other thing I thought was strange is thereās were parking meters outside. I havenāt seen them in a long time. Who carries change for meters?
Ah, they take credit cards. Strictly enforced by Madison Parking Enforcement. They patrol the streets in small whit e Jeeps patrols GPS, Cameras, and a hi-tech app. They are probably working on a robotic arm to place the ticket on your windshield.
MadCity Staff tends to be very friendly and accommodating, if you ask they will surely set you up with what you may need.
