I thought we were discussing speaker girls! Hmmm,
Dog. On.
On. Airedales like to shake their toys to death.
Ever since I did the overhaul (crossover parts upgrade, cabinet & horn dampening). Not only can I hear the Fart of a Nat but they sound better with the grilles on. My Wife especially appreciates this.
Bubinga veneer looks awesome
100%
Sir, it’s grilles not babes!
IMO, if you have no children or pets, then off. Our speakers didn’t even come with grills, nor are they available for them.
I can’t have Magico’s or similar. Airedales love to shake their toys to death. We’ve limited the length of indoor toys to hopefully eliminate that fiasco. But in the summer when the house is wide open, every now and then an outside toy finds it’s way into the house. So far we’ve been lucky, but with a terrier I have stayed on the side of caution. Grilles on!
I still don’t understand the grilles on my speakers. Yes, they ssssslightly change the sound. It’s different but not worse. So I don’t mind having them in place when they need to be—(when wild animals like my niece and nephew) are here.
Same with mine. I don’t think I can tell the difference. Ignorance is bliss.
I think I can tell the difference but I couldn’t say which way sounds better.
