Listening by proxy, not just limited to this particular post. Having skin in the game carries the day in my world. Should an individual purchase offshore cables and enjoy them to no end, well good for them. To each their own.
The forum continues to be littered with hyperbole. For me if I am curious I buy it, try and decide if it stays. Having local supportive dealers is most helpful in my decision making. An occasional short term loan is appreciated. If I were to try an offshore knock-off part of the equation would be delegating it to the dumpster should I not think it is up to snuff, what ever that means.
Personally I find it difficult believing a $250 AliExpress Dragon interconnect is equivalent in sound to the official AQ Dragon, but that’s just me.
I do find this all rather entertaining.
