STEALTH Power Cords, components and EMI interferences

It could be your last.
(Unless you are weak like me)

Yes, I confirm (by ears) again, each component has its own STEALTH.

Sakra plays in another league. Sorry to say it again, three three three are the numbers I’d consider in your shoes… (I know you like monos, I know you would have to change the rack to respect perfect symmetry, I know it’s pretty heavy but I also know your wife could approve the final look of the system + a lower rack, less - and more fancy - cables and more joy to your ears).

I need to remind myself don’t visit this thread, again.:man_facepalming:

I have been talking with Stealth about the Sakra Gold. No one else is in the position I am in, five V17 Sakras. There is nothing I fear more than the Sakra Gold. Alex says they will be released early next year. They will send me one to try.

Is that a good thing or a very expensive bad thing?

They are way more expensive than the V17. I believe they use Gold wire. Huge Sigh!!

Oh have you now. We were all done buying stuff, except for Donald, and possibly a different Paul, and then you open the Schnerzinger Slope. It’s a steep one. And you are a thrill seeking kind of skier.

But then, I cannot really describe what I am hearing here. The PZ was a shock, a big shock. Then the Grid Protector. Each took the reality here to places I never imagined. I can switch one off but the other not so much.

To describe it, I’d say you know when your speakers disappear, you just hear the sound stage. It starts there. Where it is now is all the gear vanishes. And it is a huge jump.

It seems nice.

By the way, vinyl, via Bacch, slays. Vinyl has made the most of these changes. Way out in front. Way out in front. Ooooops!

It was nice knowing you, Luca.

Happy trails…

I just received the meter. I see high interference potential on the WLAN router, a galvanic isolator for Ethernet and the DC power supply for the grid protector. The meter shows nothing on my Ethernet cables. The Melco switch and the LHY SW 6 are also not noticeable.

Checked again. The Ethernet cable coming from the router shows problems. The Ethernet cable that leads to the switch after the galvanic isolation shows no problems. In terms of measurement technology, galvanic isolation helps.

A popular western of the 1953,54, Shane, has a memorable line for me. The little boy calls out, “Shane, Shane come back”.
I echo, “Luca come back, please.”

I am probably the only one in this forum who watched Shane in a theatre.

Just a thought. If Luca left the forum, I might save a vacation each year on buying things that I have never heard before.

But then again, life here without Luca is no fun. I’ll pay the membership for both😆

Now that’s a good one! I remember telling my nephew I saw Star Wars in the theater years ago and he looked at me and said “you saw Star Wars in a theater? You are old!!!” This was before all the remakes of course. Shane is a great movie and no I didn’t see it in a theater or drive-in

These types of isolators are harmful to the sound though. Use a Network Acoustics Muon Pro or ENO2.

I will replace the long route with a fiber optic cable and move the LHY switch into position.

That will result into a much better sound quality. Also take care of the type of SFPs used like Finisar as this will also impact sound quality.

I took my daughter and her friends to see the original Star Wars and Alien. The theatres were full of good smoke.
