Has Stereophile no shame? I haven’t read it in years since I’m not buying new gear these days, (except for the $8K MKII Dac they reviewed on old $1600 speakers- a total mismatch) and I see a full 2 page ad for an illegal downloading service that promises an alternative to torrenting.
While we can’t prevent these services From operating (I’ve done what I can to warn companies about this particular service and help them take their content down) the fact that Stereophile helps promote theft, and makes money from it, has made me loose all respect for them.
