Strictly Jazz Sounds (Part 2)

A really lovely record….

Ron Horton - Trumpet, Flugelhorn
Marty Ehrlich - Alto Saxophone, Bass Clarinet (on Prayer for Andrew, Dusk, ML, Tough Love, Belleza #1)
John O’Gallagher - Alto Saxaphone (on all others)
Marc Mommaas - Tenor Saxophone
Frank Kimbrough - Piano
Dean Johnson - Bass
Tim Horner - Drums

And, it sounds lovely too, great recording and the record is really quiet.

This is the first time I’ve purchased any vinyl from Newvelle, so I’m not sure if this an outlier or if all their releases sound this good. I will need to poke around their website. Their prices sure are pretty darn steep.

Not spinning right now, but aiming to later this evening. Crew here renovating our bathroom from later 50s. The guys like an internet modern pop station and a Latino one. Their work looks so good I don’t care what they listen to. LOL. But, I’ve never been so ready for some great jazz. Here’s what’s for dinner… a new to me LP from Craft…
