I may need to revisit The Necks. To my ear they tend to dip into new age sensibilities more than I care for. There was a time when I enjoyed that sort of approach, thinking Windham Hill as an obvious example.
The latest release does not have as many repeating patterns and drone as some of their earlier efforts. A single 42 minute set with several ‘movements’. I dig it.
