Cool. Thanks. I’ve known the music since the mid-eighties or so, and I bet this is the best it has sounded.

New Craft Recordings reissue. Sounds great on Qobuz, the vinyl will sound even better.

I love this album, and I always feel depressed when I play it.

Craft LP treatment and available streaming 192. JH circa 1973 (?) with Bartz, Holland, and DeJohnette. Just enjoy the wild ride. Long live fusion?

A fine choice. I believe I have an early release LP in the rack here somewhere.

My first jazz album. Bought it the next morning after seeing JH live. The beginning of listening to nothing but jazz. So great that Craft gave it the treatment, maybe more people will get on the bandwagon.

Another Craft Recording reissue that I need to buy.

Joe Henderson and Alice Coltrane ‘The Elements’.

A very strange, amazing set.

As my planned hike has been briefly delayed, my hiking partner is squeezing in a pre-hike 5k run, the opportunity to listen to Satoko Fujii Tokyo Trio Jet Black was fulfilled. A 2024 Libra Records release with 須川 崇志 (bass), and 竹村一哲 (drums) joining [藤井郷子] on piano. Excellent free improvisation from this exciting Trio.
