Super tweeters and Aspen series experience?

Does anyone have any experience or feedback adding super tweeters to any Aspen series speakers? Presently enjoying the FR5’s on stands in a 13’x25’ room w/o subs. Ceiling and wall acoustic treatment is decent but soundstage depth is lacking some. instrument spotlighting is impressive with m700 monoblocks and a tube preamp, but I am hoping to add more holography and depth to the experience. speakers are 28" from front wall, 36" from side walls and 7 feet apart. listening position is 8 feet away on a couch centered between the two speakers.

I would add a subwoofer and move the FR5’s further out than 28"

I was thinking the next move would be to add two subs, would love to add two foundry 12’s but probably will have to settle for two svs micros right now. i can move the speakers out maybe 4" forward. gik acoustics 4" thick panels behind speakers and hifi gear

I would call PS Audio and ask to speak with Caleb regarding F12’s and not go with SVS.

I’d re-think the acoustic treatments looking for where you may have inadvertently over dampened the room.

will do! sorta’ by accident most of my rig is now ps audio gear…do appreciate all they bring us.

I 2nd the Suggestion above of F12s for your set up… :+1:

Do you have any side wall first reflection treatment btw - and what about toe in? I bet the first helps most, in this case

I do have side and wall first reflection panels and the speakers are toed in 10-15 degrees…

Thanks Gary. They are now 36” from the front wall (as far as the W.A.F. will allow) and are 7.5’ apart (also W.A.F. And sidewall limitations)

Moving the speakers further out from the front wall will improve image depth. I would also try moving them further apart then increase toe in, which will increase image width.
