I should work. B4M > ddc > dac.
But I don’t have B4M yet so I can’t test it. But the DDC will just appear as a regular dac on you’re Mac. 
(I think this is legitimately the best tweak you can do for B4M)
I certainly can try it. The worst that could happen is genocide.

The BACCH4MAC also recognized the marix xpdif2 as DAC bersus DDC. When removed the DSMK2 wasn’t recognized but the hangs up from reclocking disappeared.

He was a huge fan of it then. He would be really impressed now with the Room Correction function added. It is a huge upgrade IMHO.

I just had my first long Bacch-dsp session after the DS Mk2 five day 125 hour firmware breakin is complete. The before Massive Beta with Bacch -dsp was something. But tonight it was wowsers with every song. I had done breaking in with a Qobuz playzlist of the 50 greatest audiohile albums of all time thre repeats of 42 hours.
I just let Roon Radio drive afterwards. Holy smokes it was mostly music from 60s, 70s I came away with a new appreciation hearing phenomenal performances with details never heard placed all over the room. Though i grew up in this era of album rock repeated into 80s.
Yes I can’t wait to try ORC.

@Vmax - I was waiting for your impressions of the final Massive + BACCH!! I think BACCH has to be my next major step. The final Massive is amazing

I have been trying to finish a system so I can focus more on naps. I have reached pinnacles that seemed hard to improve on and ended up being bested. I have experienced major sound enhancement at least 11 times. This twelfth time is different. This is no fuse change, no sir. This one is a major league jump! And you get ice cream. All hail Edgar!

Yes I have had Bacch4MAC one year this month. It has wowed me several times each Bacch software up date along with giving it an LPS and a USB cable that costs nearly half as much. The Bacch plus massive is a totally incredible and positive change.
Next step ORC. I have a few thoughts I won’t be as amazed. I only have to look at what Al says to believe it is possible to go even higher on a level of awe.

We installed BACCH4MAC Audiophile today (upgraded from the intro version).
IOHO/ the intro version was the best bang for the buck (for it’s time)
Everything sounds better with the upgrade (at a cost)
From what we are hearing from Edgar, and Al that moniker will soon be replaced with the Audiophile 14 version including (ORC) Optimal Room Correction. One of the reasons we upgraded to Audiophile was you need that to get ORC.
It looks like we have a new best bang for the buck coming any day now!

Has Edgar indicated when he projects ORC to be released? My last data point on expected availability was “prior to Christmas” but I’m familiar with the phenomenon associated with the last 10% of software. I wish there was a “check for updates” menu option
I’m not surprised that you’re enjoying your upgrade to the Audiophile edition - I wish there was a way to convey the impact this product has without sounding like a shill.

Another question for Edgar — is Theoretica planning to release some these upgrades for its plug-in, for example the one in the Dutch and Dutch?
The page posted by Edgar for New Years says, “second half of January 2024”, which starts tomorrow. Since I never had a walkthough session to set mine up last July, I just wrote to the generic info-at email today asking when a session with ORC can arranged.
