I love the unexpected but practical life lessons one can get from the Bible. For instance, wives. The passage “…and Mary rode Joseph’s ass all the way to Bethlehem…” gives me special comfort in those moments when I feel set upon by the Better Half. 
At least I think this is what they were talking about…
