I was using WMP to fetch metadata, but just learn that Windows stop the services December 15, 2025. That explain, why my Python program bug and could not work anymore with WMP.
Anyone using Music Bee, does it rip good? play random Album, the way you listen music with a turntable. Pic one album, play it entirely and than choose another one and play it entirely before choosing a third one!

Dewd, settle down.
My car, an Audi S5 from 2007, has got a nice B&O system with a CD changer. It sounds great and I play CDs when driving. However, my 17 year old daughter prefers her Apple Music playlists. The problem is this car doesn’t have a Bluetooth connection neither an another way to connect an iPhone. So that FM transmitter plug does the job. My daughter loves it, I do not because it sounds worse than good FM radio stations. It seams to have a quite limited bandwidth.

My genres used to be quite specific, but it was too much to keep track of, especially sorting physical media, so now it’s limited to Classical, Non-Classical, Film & Scores, Spoken Language, and Holiday. The only divergence is for playing from my server, in which case I also have a Jazz section.
