I don’t know if any of you were aware of a company called Whisker labs. It has a device called ting that you plug into any outlet in your abode that monitors your house for any unusual issues with the electricity that may cause a fire. It now will have the ability to monitor the thd on the electrical grid. They charge about $52 per year to monitor voltage coming into the house and monitor any issues you may have and will contact you and also the electric company( if warranted) to address a serious electrical issue. Some insurance companies also will give you a discount if you install the ting device in your house.
It also has a ios iphone/ipad app that monitors voltage in real time.
