I installed a PD Creative Bluesound Node 2 & 2i low noise power supply interface board (you pull the factory power board and plug this board in its place which is easy and no soldering, etc.) and hooked it up to an SBooster 5 volt linear power supply. I am running my Node 2i via digital coax to my DirectStream Jr. It’s a substantial upgrade when compared to the factory Bluesound power. To me it"s pretty cheap compared to the upgrade sound. I bought the Node 2i a couple years ago for $450 new, the PD Creative board was $132 delivered from Europe. The SBooster was $400. So a wee under $1000. I use it for mostly like a notebook for trying music to see if I would buy the CD/Album, etc. although for streaming it does sound pretty fabulous! So an easy streaming solution if you are interested .
