We also love cars

Never had any issues with any of our many Volvos… I’m currently driving a XC60 T8 that’s super reliable, quite economical to drive but also a blast to be behind the wheel in!

My wife has a 2008 C30 Polestar, only one of 300 ever made in Orinoco Blue. Despite its age, nothing but standard maintenance over the years. Only things really missing are Bluetooth and memory seats.

I considered one as a daily driver. They still look like a modern car to me. An excellent design.

As i observed, Volvo owners often are very pleased with their cars and quite loyal.

Beautiful street. Love the kid in the Chicago Bears hat and NBA store bag…lol.

McLaren P1

Starts at $1.15 million.

At that price it had better have a “teasmade” built into the dashboard!

Jay Leno tells a funny story about when he ordered his new McLaren, they asked if he wanted air conditioning at $40K. He asked "doesn’t it come with air? They replied yes, but the “good” air conditioning is $40K extra.

To be honest, tripping over super cars here. A small selection all within 100 yards and when a Rolls Royce truck drives past no one notices.

On the street where you live?

All fabulous in their own way…but, if I could have the pick of the litter, I would choose the Aston Martin.

Thanks for the pictures.

For those who know London, these were all in Mayfair, from Old Bond Street to Mount Street area, maximum half a mile apart. There were dozens of serious Lamborghini, Ferrari and Aston Martins out today (never mind all the other stuff) as the weather was good. A lot are registered in the Gulf.

Strangely the McLaren P1 was registered in California. It was parked outside Cartier Jewellers.

The McLaren Senna, which depending on options goes for up to $2.5m, was outside Scott’s in Mount Street (a very good fish restaurant).

It is a bit unusual to see two Ultimate range McLarens on the same afternoon.

I did post this Aston Martin a while back, it was a few yards from where the P1 was.

OK, a few more:

A boring common or garden Lambo

You can buy this electric Ferrari for about $400,000

This Bentley is a taxi that takes you from the centre of town to your private jet (if you can see the writing on the side)

Another boring Ferrari

A rather fun Brabus Merc that has never seen mud. Purdey, the King’s gun shop is behind. You can see the Royal Warrant. It’s been there over 200 years.
