We also love cars

The car came into my possession in a nice way and has a soul. Gonna be a good fit. My lovely woman really digs it too. She’s more worried about it than me. I like that!

I saw this bike (the orange one) on a recent trip to Memphis. Haven’t a clue what it is!

It looks like on of these creations, click.

Wow what a ride, stunning design, but will it go over bumps in the road without problems?
How low can you go?

Yes…They install on board adjustable air ride just for that purpose…

It looks like it would have some wacky geometry to make it steer.

Looks like it’s running a bit too rich

Definitely not back road twisty designs…

Intentional by design too… Lot of these guys want show bikes as well as daily riders.

Ron,check out this dude on an HD…Balls galore…

Sheesh! I especially like the blind right handers. And the jeans and T shirt…

Nice riding. I have similarly come across a few fast Harley riders in the twisties.

I am impressed he caught it when the rear slid out. He probably hit a hard part on the bike which induced the slide; Harley’s do not have much capability to lean before dragging something.

I really appreciate the acknowledgment at the end between the riders.

I too have scraped bottom on a Harley or two and and can be a bit disconcerting to say the least.

The Macan just gets better the more I drive it. Like with a lot of nice things in life, she takes a while to reveal her personality. Really going to enjoy owning this car. The only negative is I want to keep it perfect. I didn’t care much about keeping my Escape perfect.

I love them. My gf just got a base model.
In May I bought a 2003 996 cabrio with 16K miles. It’s just amazingly good—as a car. It’s my daily driver and first time ever for me, I’m putting snow tires on a 911. This should be fun.

That is one way to phrase it.

And I live at the top of a hill, 1.5 miles long, avg grade 10%, with about 500 ft at 20%.
With Nokia’s and LSD it should be doable.

That’s a steep friggin drive. Reminds me of some we saw in Tennessee. Except there is no snow in that area.

I have a 2nd set of wheels/snows for my 2009 C2S… I now have 145K miles on the car… all year, everyday driver. I put 197K on my 2000 Boxster S, again 2nd set of wheels/snows. I buy my cars to drive and enjoy… I really don’t get the garage queen thing.

Regarding snows… Michelin Alpins are about the best compromise between snow and dry performance in the cold… there are better snows out there… I had Blizzaks on my Boxster… best snow tire I ever had but the walls rolled over and there was no performance… and they got noisy all heck. Dunlops were very good but wore out fast… Pirellis just sucked, wore out fast, and were noisy… Continentals were bad all around and wore out fast (thank goodness)… and on and on. In general, I only buy Michelins anymore. Expensive but generally the best.

Peace

I agree about the Michelins. My Pilot Sports are the best warm weather tires I’ve ever owned.
The Michelin snows are not yet available according to Tire Rack.
My neighbor has an '03 996 C4 with Blizzaks and about 160K. Last winter, I went to Maine with him in the winter to look at a '66 911. His C4 was amazing.
