Looks like an ex-Mohawk turned comb-over!

That waterfall haircut was generating a “Flock of Seagulls” moment for me.

I am listening to Peter Gabriel, albums from early to late. Good grief, nothing fills my room with so many unusual environments. I am not sure if it’s for me in a big way, rather it’s an entertaining study. He is a one and only.

story of my life

I just played “Endless Summer” on this album, and I cannot tell where the wood-creeking or boat-creeeking (?) sounds are coming from. I think above my head, and this is without Bacch. Fun

It’s all like that Stereolab 10 or 20 minute version I played for you at your house. :upside_down_face:

Flanger is my current favorite Artist. But I am still listening to pretty much all Peter Gabriel this past week or two. So far nothing from “So”. Odd. I have an important final test on him on Friday.

Update. I am done with PG. That Flanger album is playing now. It’s so odd. And yet, it’s ideal. Like a vacation. From normal.

Fun!

Freshly opened and triple cleaned copy of “Sketches of Spain”. Mobile Fidelity 2013 release. Clicks and pops as always but Lordy! A magic carpet ride with BACCH. Probably still fun in unhealed stereo. Damn.

Update: Tonight I opened a fancy version of Birth Of The Blue on new 180 gram vinyl. The Analogue Productions version. It seems nice too. Fancy vinyl can sometimes work. Not always though.

Yep, that Orb and that David Gilmore. Won’t set your world on fire but it seems fine.

This album loves Bacch! I love them both together!
I figured out my system sounds best the night before i work a 24 hour shift. If I win the powerball it might not ever sound good again! I guess the lord works in mysterious ways.

A few months ago I was studying everything I had from Peter Gabriel. This month it’s David Bowie. Turns out my old vinyl is clean and nice. But 8 unopened 180 gram remasters from Parlophone need listening. Turns out, Side Two of both Low and “Heroes” are a pretty strange ride, with or without BACCH. You won’t dance, some will fall asleep. But in the proper mood one might enjoy the weird landscapes.

The new vinyl sounds so much better by the way. No contest. None of that wide dynamic range to deal with. Whew. (Just kidding, they really are better!)

Indeed, always enjoy the dark DOOM DOOM DOOM, and jets flying by, followed by the serenity of an Eno Moss Garden!

Sense of Doubt is pretty believable.

These three versions of the same song all sound different and have various plus and minus factors to them. I might have to go for either the stereo (1) or full twelve-channels (3). Though I am enjoying that Stratos makes it really easy to listen to my pretty big catalog of 5.1 surround DVDA material. They just come out from the two speakers.
