Well I love Brad Mehldau and I adore Elliott Smith’s music so this one hits home. The transcription is great and the orchestration that kicks in in the middle suits it well.

I watched that video and not much later, this popped up.
Always been my favorite in Stanley’s repertoire.

This kid has been around for a while. She’s really gotten so much better over the years. Yayoka is another drummer [from Japan - now residing in California] who has been a prodigy since she could hold a pair of sticks. Extremely versatile in her playing styles, she has also moved up in the talent rankings as she has gotten older. YouTube brings so many really talented kids into the public view that wasn’t available even 20 years ago. They are a joy to watch.
