Teri Thornton “I’ll Be Easy To Find”

“I’ll be Easy to Find” is a great album by Ms Thornton on Verve, I have the cd, but i’m actually listening to a cdr of two that I have that are from rehearsals for the album courtesy of a friend of the producer. The former band musician in me likes to hear bands working out material. . . and these pros are doing a great job of mastering these tunes.

I was a member of an online record club called OBC which stood for Original Buyers Club. Targeted finding rare originals that were better condition than you can ever find on the public market.

The main guy who sourced the records had been quite big in the record industry until the early 00’s when production basically halted, and he became a private consultant to quite select customers.

I am an avid fan of that soundtrack, along with some of the artwork tied to it. I was after an original of the soundtrack but a very particular promo copy.

He never did get around to getting me a copy, BUT he did have a HUGE (talking 20 foot long) hand made banner of the title that actually came from the original set. He’d ended up buying the collection from one of the producers of the movie years ago who also gave him that piece. I didn’t buy it because it was just too huge, but seriously cool piece.
