Disc 2. Listened to Disc 1 before receiving and installing the etherREGEN and I remain surprised at the improvement, very easy to tell between Disc 1 and 2. Leaning towards dropping the Bridge. I’m sure I’ll go the Sonore route. I’ve had a very long love affair with Bridge I and II but am getting tired of the quirks and PSA looks to have dropped any effort to squash bugs, etc. Too bad but most things in modern life have a shelf life.
Time to kick it up a couple notches…and a very generous pour of Woodford Reserve. An ordinary bourbon but still bourbon.
Edit: I haven’t told this story here in a while. I met Bernard Purdie at BB Kings at the Mirage in Vegas, since closed (BBs not the Mirage…although…). I had no idea who he was at the time. I was chatting up his promoter (again, no idea) before a good house band show. During an intermission walks in a slow moving Bernard Purdie and his entourage. The guy I’ve been chatting up shouts very loudly, “there’s Bernard Purdie.” I pretended to know and my new friend filled me in on the rest. Got to shake his hand and introduce my wife and I. Looked him up for real when I got home. It was a fun night!
