Speaking of New Years, do you practice first footing?
It’s a thing of the past. Used to do it back in the day.! Nowadays - I don’t want drunks in my house…
I remember back to an era when one would take a coin, piece of coal, piece of bread and a drink as a ‘lucky first-footer’ over the doorstep gift after midnight. Superstition…!
