What are you spinning now? Mark 7

DSD version.

Qobuz, HR. This album, or to be honest the album cover, caught my attention when @aiki14 posted it yesterday. I have never been an enthusiast for Mozart; this album exemplifies why that is. Sonically it is a pleasure to listen to, with a good sound and very polished playing. The music is light, imaginative and stimulating. It is like an exquisite dessert. That is my problem with Mozart. If you had to live on a diet of his music alone you would die from a deficiency syndrome. It always leaves me feeling vaguely unsatisfied. Now for the more important business of the album cover. Look at the facial expressions of the quartet. There is meant to be a story somewhere there.

Yes. Certainly not a happy bunch - all of them - pallid, bloodless and lifeless. Iron-Deficiency. Possibly brothers and sister who suffer from a genetic disorder that can be traced back generations to a diet that comprises solely of sickly sweet desserts and Mozart … :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks
