New on Qobuz. HR. The Sixteen are excellent singers. This album is a bit of a mash up; varying from, for me, a high of Vox Dicentis to a low of Danny Boy! Occasional piano and harp accompaniment. I felt that the folk tunes lost more than they gained from transformation to formal choral pieces. Interesting album, but very mixed. Sound is good.
