Short morning listening. Have work to do getting the house ready for the big family gathering tomorrow. Weather is chamber of commerce stuff. Fun outside and on the deck, stereo sounds better than ever out there.

On my desert island list for sure. The digital file though, too much sand for LPs and even CDs (mostly the player).

Yes, and downloaded it from Qobuz. Took a while to recall the provenance (Lomax’s work), but a fascinating (and enjoyable) piece of work.

Lowly red book rez acoustic recording that reminds me there never was anything lowly about 44/16 format done well. I have every bar committed to memory (yep, total Oregon fanatic).
