Great record. Not sure It’s worth 24/96 due to it’s DR in the 7/8s (I just looked it up in JRiver). Just my small obsession about low DR recordings though.

My leg remains separate, Araldite is on the horizon, been caught up trying to find the back room table, which was lost under a mountain of stuff, most of which needs a home (in the garage or the bin)

Trying a Bluesound Node 2i on loan from @umiami91. I can’t hear a difference on 96/24 Qobuz vs AmazonHD via the Optical input on my DSSr. All other “orifices” on the back of the DSSr. are “plugged up”.

Ok…there is a difference. AmazonHD is just a tad bit “darker” sounding compared to Qobuz. Same 96/24 track on both services.
Used to crank this one every Friday night before entering Alexandria Bay Bridge on the last 60 miles from Central Jersey to Kanata.

Nah…Optical out from the Bluesound Node 2i/ Optical in of the DSSr. I have the Win10 App loaded on my Music Sever all well as on my iPhone. The TV display is connected to the HDMI out of my Music Server.

Nope. Kids are great no problems. Oldest one played up on the second day of school and went in huff, didn’t bother me, I made him stay late to complete his lessons whilst the younger kid was in the kitchen eating and drinking then outside playing with Roy. He didn’t flounce off in a huff after that!
