New on Qobuz, Bromberg is always interesting as well as doing things with a bass I didn’t know were possible.

A new Box set of all their stuff just came out, at least in the UK, not sure if it’s available in the states.

Edit to note it comes out on 18 June in the UK

So I think the Vinyl has same over all tone and imaging as Qobuz. But it has a much more soundstage depth compared to the streaming file.

I know her from the collaboration with Cohen.
What is your favorite Jennifer Warnes album?
Super voice.
And very recognizable.

Thanks!, I’m going to play the 50th anniversary of Deja Vu later tonight…it’ll be interesting. So far, Roon sounds flat to me…although perfectly great on my outside system at the moment (it is hot and summer on my deck). The new Audiovana Studio is still a possibility. The only issue, a big one, is that it adds data to EVERY file for musicbranz data. That’s a hard no! Don’t screw with my files….ever! I read they will allow you to opt in/out in a near future release.

It’s the one you mention, Famous Blue Raincoat, although it’s become in some ways a cliché because it was played to death in the audio salons because the recording was exemplary. Picking a 2nd is hard but I think I’d go with The Well – another outstanding recording both technically and for her singing.

Moby - ‘Natural Blues’ (Reprise Version) ft. Gregory Porter & Amythyst Kiah (Official Music Video)

lots of good music here as always, but

you do know the eurovision song contest final is on right now?

all the cheese, bad costumes, and bad hair is there (which is kinda the point).

Iceland to win!!!
