I know it’s love for The Last Time!
Guantanamera!
Oh Mother … feel the groove!!
I have nearly all those Prestige titles in the series too Amos, and I need to play a few soon, been a while.
The Armstrong is great. By the way, these are the mono versions of the final albums . . . and they sound really good in mono, possibly better than the stereo versions put out before.
Have no idea where I got the idea to buy this…lost track. Check out Shotgun (Jr Walker and the Stars) cover. Clever club music with a rea slick groove.
Gotta look this up!
Try buju’s “walk like a champion.”
Mono can sound spectacular when the recording was originally mixed to mono.
Rhino Records and the definitive collection…

Agreed. Some people don’t buy mono though. . wanted to put it out there. It’s not mentioned on the outer packaging.
Guaranteed delivered. Holly crap…why hasn’t that been in my life before? I had no idea. So raw. Is this on an a CD? Music is infinity, there’s always something new and great! The discovery never ends.
P.S. drummer is awesome but he could only hang on! Reminds me of Link Wray Three Track Shack.
Music is indeed nearly infinite, a wonderful observation.
My brother, Jake, gave me the CD and many others in a trade for a GT mountain bike. At the time, I had been screwed. Now the CD is worth a ton.
Anyway, Sturgill Simpson since Sunday Valley has made it big. Look him up.
