Looks good. Picked up on Amazon from some seller in Germany for $10.00. Can’t beat the price of new music these days.

Cool, congrats … I think you’re gonna love it!

TIDAL MQA version. A demo quality recording … why can’t all digital sound this good?

How about this one? Would she have had a career without the Muscle Shoals influence? She was on a fast train to nowhere before this record. The songs recorded in New York (after the fight), on this record, pale in comparison. Fun to think about and debate…

RIP!!!

Sorry, I have to set the record straight, I believe “Respect” was recorded in New York. Kind of a big deal. Still, I think there’s a solid argument for the Muscle Shoals influence.

I have had this CD for a long time. I use it to test out my system if I have changed anything and, as now, play it occasionally to remind me what things should sound like.

RIP 'Retha. Unlike many I really really like her Columbia albums as well as her Atlantic. She was a force of nature. She’ll be missed.

Classic 1982 hip-hop record with the seven-minute turntablism masterpiece, “The Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel.”

That’s Flash on the front cover holding the boombox, and the group is the Furious FIVE. And yet, there are seven guys on the front and back covers … Anyone know the identity of the sixth member of the Furious Five?
